Technology oh what the heck

Well what a 'great' start to the earth rat year i had... First off my handphone gives me all kinds of trouble.. Imagine someone calling you and they can't freaking hear what you're saying!! Heck if you ever wanna get a handphone don't you ever get a Nokia5300... It's great if you're the type to look after your phone and all that but after a few drops it'll get whacked!! Hey i remembered when back in the days when all it takes for a phone to do is answer calls and reply SMSes... Sadly those days are long gone.. with the coming of a whole new era for handphones every few years u'll basically get bored of a brand new phone you bought today in a few month's time!! I AM NOT those who really care about having hightech handphone gadgets and stuff like that but it's just so hard to get a simple decent handphone nowadays.... what with all the handphones having other unimaginable inclusions... so should I get a new handphone or should i just repair the old one?? heck why bother buying any when in 2months time it'll already be 'outdated' ... I guess i'll just continue using old handphone here til i get really annoyed with it then....
